I wanted to thank everyone for their input and report back on my maiden voyage on the Beechcraft this past Sunday (MIA - TPA).

I went for seat 1F, with 1A not being available. It was a good choice. Great view of the flightdeck, at least until the pilot closed the partition. I was also much more comfortable in my seat than I would be in Y in a widebody - the single seat was good (I love not having anyone next to me) and I was able to stretch my legs past the closet.

Not having a window was no problem for me - and my Shure in ear earphones did a nice job of drowning out the propeller noise.

I would have no qualms about taking this route again and would choose seat 1A then 1F in that order.
