The SHS Williamsburg is your typical property. It is located in the tourist area not to far from Colonial Williamsburg. Since you will be travelling with kids you might want to take a look at the Great Wolf Lodge. I stayed there with the family in June and the kids loved it--the indoor waterpark is great. It is a little pricey but if you shop around on their website you can find some good deals. ^
