If you thought the AA FA went 'above and beyond' maybe write a letter expressing how pleased you were with the service. They probably don't get too many 'praise' letters.

For predrinks I find you get them when its not a chaotic loading process. If it is a full plane they seem not to have time to give you a predrink. And those always seem like the times when you need one the most.
