If we rate no preflight drinks, warm - not hot - nuts, and then delivered regular service, then I don't know one can rate that excellent service. I'm not trying to be flippant, but AA has incredibly inconsistent in-flight service. No airline that will give me pre-flights drinks when they feel like it is going to be rated "excellent". My level of expectation of service in the F cabin is consistent service everywhere. This mean every flight pre-flight drinks (or none at all), hot nuts, refills, FEBO, the works. Anything less is a "unacceptable". Excellent service has to go way beyond this level of service.
