In addition, with the coming lie-flat seat conversion of Business Class on 763s, it will make the downgrade to 763s from 777s *somewhat* more palatable for F flyers and certainly advantageous for J flyers.
Plus any DFW or RDU passengers looking to fly in F can make connections in ORD, JFK and BOS if they want to. DFW passengers have the direct flight to LHR via ORD (AA 66/67) and RDU-LGW is already scheduled to convert to a 763 later this year.
I think this move makes a lot of sense.
