I don't see the DL 777s going anywhere - if anything, I fully expect to redeploy them to new longhaul markets as part of its international expansion plans. Besides, AA deferred/tried to defer some of its 777 deliveries as it is - if they need more of them, they can simply have Boeing fulfill their order on time.
