Stayed there last week - I was in austin for a few days so stayed at HGI, Hampton, and Homewood[trying to make diamond]. Of those 3, the HGI was the nicest. If I am recalling the correct property, it was next door to a restaurant. Can't say how it compares to ES but it was clean, newer, contintental breakfast was better than the other hotels [i did not upgrade either] and very nice staff.
