I agree... I understand why the door is opened, my point was that all the money spent re-enforcing them was wasted if they are going to open it during flight! Drink carts, flight attendant and other 'obstacles' would do little to deter somebody who is willing to storm a cockpit.
I had heard good things about ElAl and security. This system seems like a good idea if they have done it.
