It's not the same route, but maybe a similar situation:

I see you're flying a Monday night red-eye. This past Monday I was on the SNA-EWR red-eye, booked months in advance in T, with my Plat number. Checking the day before, FC was booked to about 6 of 12, but even when I checked in 40 min. before departure, the F seat still wouldn't clear. In the end, the agent said F would go out full, and it did: I think 3 upgrades at the gate including mine. So, that would point to about 3 likely Y to F fares booked the day of.

So.... if F stays with only 2 of 12 booked, you'll likely get upgraded as a Plat, but don't expect it in advance.
