Upgrade Confirmed But No Seat Assigned/Available?
I'm on Delta 661 BWI-ATL on 21 September. I just logged into Delta.com to check my itineraries, and my upgrade on this flight cleared, and I'm confirmed in First Class. Usually, when my upgrades clear, Delta gives me an annoying window seat, so my habit is to immediately change the seat they assigned to an aisle. Anyway, on the itineraries list, there was no seat listed. I figured that's odd, and went to the seat assignments page. When it drew the little diagram of the MD-88 First Class cabin, all 14 seats were grey (indicating that they've been assigned. What gives? Anyone ever have this happen before? Any idea what'll happen when I show up at the airport ("Sorry, Mr. JimRPA, but there's no seat for you on this flight.")?
