Our experience was different
Even though service has changed since we first did the LP runs in 2000, we had great customer service on our recent flights in Business Class from Chicago to Guatemala City. Even though we only had sandwiches in both dirrections (redeye flights) they were served by very competent and friendly FAs. We were offered pre-flight drinks and several other drinks during the flight, including coffee service.
