Mileage Upgrade COS newbie question

Hi there, sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it after searching.

I just used 15,000 miles upgrade reward to upgrade the domestic leg of my wife's itinerary DEN-ORD, ORD-LHR in early December. Not that long a flight, but since she's going to be doing a lot of traveling around those couple of weeks I figured I'd let her start out comfortable.

The International Res desk did the upgrade and pulled my miles, and confirmed her in a F seat.

However when I look at her reservation on United.com, although I see Seat 2E (middle section in F on 763ER, seatguru says good seat), the "Class" column still shows Coach. Is this normal? Is it because the overall itinerary is purchased in a coach COS (in this case, W)? Or is it just United.com being quirky?

My main concern is that her BP shows as "First Class", not just as "Seat 2E", so that the ID dragons at DEN security checkpoint let her through the First Class security line (she doesn't have status with UA). Also of course that the upgrade actually is properly confirmed.

Figured somebody here would have experience with mileage award upgrades and how these display.

Thanks!
