Four wines of several bottles each that seemed the "best" are:

Chateau Grand Barry
Appelation Lussac-Saint Emilion
1982

Probably a bit past it now, but worth a go

Buzet
Appelation Buzet
Mise en bouteille au Chateau
1986

Again, probably a bit too old, but woth opening

Le Trochet (Grand Vin de Bordeaux)
Appelation St. Emilion
Grande Cuvee Exceptionnelle, Monopole
1973

Vinegar. 1973 was never any good and after 32 years will be awful

Chateau Latour (Grand Vin)
Appelation Paullac
1981

Prize beyond rubies. may be getting slightly past its peak, but oine of the finest wines in the world period. Not the greatest vintage and perhaps you will be drinking a little too late, but if it has been stored well could be excellent. Probably cost upwards of GBP 100 to buy a bottle now.
