I've got a lot of flying coming up during the next several weeks and am in early stages of cold. In past, I've had some terrible times with ears on ascent and descent. I dose up with Afrin and Sudafed, and find only moderate relief.

Have you used EarPlanes? Do they work? I don't understand the physics of how they could possibly work.....it's like your ears are fighting against much greater forces.

Any other suggestions?
