It's been three years I believe I mostly checked-in at ther regular counter. My SO mentioned similar thing. Would rather be with the regular F check-in agent, more friendlier, and more communicative.
The other thing that I noticed, I usually picked up my stored luggages, and and took the lift up, and pushed the cart by those dedicated agents. With all my Solitaire Priority tags clearly visible or with my F ticket jacket out, none of the agent would approached me and asked whether I would fly out that day. They were busy among themselves, or I guess they are trained just for the pax who arrive on the curb. I did twice or more just pushed my cart towards the dedicated F lounge and went to the desk, and none of the agent asked why I pushed my own cart.
