I've only stayed at Wyndam's twice in my life -- and for a reason. At the Wyndam in Baltimore check in took over two hours even though I'm registered with the by Request program.
Recently I stayed at the Wyndam in Center City Philadelphia and the service their made the service in Baltimore look good -- check in took 20 minutes, but they had the wrong rate and were trying to overcharge us by 20 percent (before tax!), my request number wasn't entered in their PC system so I had to call the desk to get that set up, service at breakfast made the check in time look fast, one member of our party spent 20 minute in line to get a package that was really for someone else and to top it off, this was a two night stay and they didn't replenish the coffee in my room etc etc.
I complained via their website (when I got home) and got a canned response, but little else.
