I got a reply from Alaska about my special meals going away. Here's what they said:


As of January 9, 2005 Alaska Airlines discontinued special meal requests as a
cost savings measure. Meal service has been adjusted to regular (no special
requests) meal service. On shorter flights, the service will be a small snack
and beverage. Passengers are welcome to bring on board their own food which
meets their preferences or needs.

800-252-7522. If responding by email, please include all previous
correspondence without attachments.

I can bring my own food... yeahhhhhh!!!! Now every boozer on the plane will get to hear from me about how I am starving so they can get their booze.
