I stayed here just a couple weeks ago. It's pretty standard HGI. Fairly well kept, although my room had the loudest air conditioner I've had in a hotel room in a long time. I mentioned it to the front desk when I checked out and they promised to look into it, suggesting that the noise problem might be just the unit in that room (no, I did not get any "compenasation" for my complaint). Free breakfast for Gold was a standard continental buffet, but you could upgrade to full American for a couple bucks (I didn't). It's also not really that close to the Arboretum shopping area - if you want to be close to the shops, stay at the Embassy Suites, which is actually in the Arb. And I did not get any sort of room upgrade, although there are suites at this property and the place looked pretty empty.
