I know this all to well. I did a BOS-OGG roundtrip last December via ORD. Due to a last minute change on the outbound flight we were in coach (front row in H,J) and it was fine Granted, we knew we had two weeks in Hawaii to look forward to and were going to directly to the Four Seasons.

I will admit that we were happy to be upgraded on the way home (overnight flight).
