www.aa.com shows row 1 as the "elite" preferred seats.
www.seatguru.com says that the plane always boards and deplanes from the rear.
It's a short flight so comfort is not the issue here. I would like to sit closest to the door so I can be one of the first one off.
So, is Seatguru correct about the rear door use ONLY?
If it makes any difference the flights would be RSW-MIA.

I did a search. Boarding is from the rear.

The only question left is about MIA boarding procedures for these planes. Is it a bus or a tarmac walk?
