CLE-LAX last month had a great potato soup along with a grilled chicken/vegetable sandwich that was served on a great French bread (not soggy, for once). Coming home, LAX-CLE, they were understaffed with only one FA for 18 people. The people in the last row of coach had their meatloaf sandwich before I received my greasy but good Reuben. It appears that everything except the EWR transcons are getting the soup with a choice of sandwich or salad.
