To piggy back on what prncess674 said, you can buy an adapter from Radio Shack that will convert the power plug from the empower design to cigarette lighter plug.

The comes in handy cause I have then bought a cigarette plug "Y" adapter and had my laptop AND my MP3 player being powered away!

The targus model can be either a cigarette lighter or empower adapter.
