When I logged into FlyingBlue the first time I had the option of changing my name. So in the system I am now Lars and not only L.
I believe that initials-only is a cultural Dutch thing inherited from FD, which I believe FB has changed, but since they probably don't know the first name of members it is a bit hard to clean the data.
