I am new here and I basically do not like to post on public fora, but here goes....

Regarding the A340-600 in F:

Have flown BKK-ZRH-BKK recently, both flights in the new A346 and both legs in seat 1K.

Being an absolute AB-Buff I was sorely disappointed by the F-Class in the 346, compared to the old lie-flats in the front of the cabin of the '747. As somebody else already said, the F-galley is right in front of the cabin and there is a constant coming and going even at night. The curtain to the galley does not stay closed and as the amenity kits both ways did not include eyeshades, getting some sleep was nearly impossible. Unfortunately, on the way back 2A+K were already taken, otherwise I would have changed seats.

Apart from that: The seat is nice, even if the cabin crew had no idea hwo to operate them and advise as to what was where. It took me more than one hour on the way out just to find out where the screen was hidden after one of the crew had told me that mine was the one on the wall in front of me. Unfortunately the way its installed makes it also impossible to see the camera views on t/o and landing and they do not show this on this on the main screens.

The service was impeccable of course, as almost always on TG. ^
