According to the resolution made by the TalkBoard, except in extreme cases (such as outright flaming) moderators do not edit signatures. The reason is simple: Different moderators may view the signatures differently and it would be a ridiculous situation to have a signature appear, without objection, on 12 different forums only to see it banned on the 13th.

Instead, if a signature is viewed by a moderator to be provocative or controversial to the point where it can be disruptive, the moderator reports it to Randy and it is Randy's decision whether or not to remove it.
