I guess this thing must be new. It has been a long time since I have made a stop enroute to my destination. Last time I travelled from LHR, they gave me 2 boarding passes, one for LHR-ORD and another for ORD-SNA. I guess I must have been checked in at least 9 or 10 hours before ORD-SNA.

So let me get this right, I am travelling in Oct LHR to JFK and then getting on JFK to LAX. Will I have to check in at JFK for LAX. Oherwise I will again be checking in about 8 or 9 hours before that flight.

Seems silly to me.
