I have been to Egypt twice over the past 18 months and never had any immigration issues. Buy the silly stamps from the hawkers and then there is a short line. Has this changed very recently? Arriving on the same old LH flight at 3 pmish. I am being picked up by a private individual.

Yes, the people who I am travelling with are Egyptians and residents...... they are all booking in Y class but they blindly follow the advice of some travel agent who is not that sharp. The itinerary is ridiculous.....4 flights in one day with an unreliable airline in a somewhat disorganized country. I am trying my best to change these plans so that we go to LXR first then overnight in ASW before going to ABS.... but maybe it's facing the "Not Invented Here" syndrome.
