Nothing further to add. I've had very good experiences with Utopia Tours when I used its guides in Beijing, Shanghai and HK. I've now booked with them for Bangkok and Chiang Mai pacakges for this January.

True, as you note, they are expensive -- relative to some other local guides. But I've found them to be worth the money.
