I am potentially flying the following on Egyptair:

CAI-ABS-ASW-LXR-CAI.

The CAI-ABS flight is murder..... 04:15 and 2:45 in duration. The other flights are short.

Is it worth flying C class on Egyptair? The airline is dry. The seating looks like US style F class from the seat maps. I think my itin has 737s and Airbus 300s. (AB6).

Any info on pitch in Y vs. C?

The C vs. Y pricing is approx $500 vs. $300. If I buy a Y ticket then is it possible to upgrade CAI-ABS at the airport for a fee?
