I can contest to this. I've flown 72 from HNL-IAH four times in the last year, and basically, you take off and it's already about 9, 10'o'clock. All I really want to do is sleep, and so it seems that's also what a majority of other people want to do as well.
What CO should do IMHO on these flights is concentrate more on serving a better meal prior to landing (breakfast). Instead of cutting back and serving less food on CO73, they should shift the meal so that I'm not always starving when I walk out of the flight in IAH!
But then again... when does CO ever listen to lowly silvers... especially NW silvers.
