CO.o.l clarification: 'purchased' means not bought yet

On Thursday night, I searched and selected an
itinerary and 'continued to purchase' and
selected 'reserve'.

On Friday, I could not find this reservation listed
under manage my reservations.

I phoned in and placed another reservation
without purchasing for the same itinerary.
Don't know if I got a new or recycled
confirmation number.

15 minutes later I looked at 'manage
reservations' and saw my newly reserved
non purchased itinerary listed as 'purchased'.

Phoned CO.o.l support, they said that in
the 'Manage Reservations' view, 'purchased'
means only reserved, and not necessarily
purchased.

Clicking on this particular itinerary to its
page shows 'not purchased/ticket'.

That's the state of the web.
