These two paragraphs say so much. Because she's an insider this woman knows someone else's reasons? If she is so concerned about it, why doesn't she ask the question, "why do you wear the pin?"

Should one presume from her comments that if she were allowed to wear her cross outside her uniform, that she would be wearing it for the purpose converting people?

Again, I don't have any comment on whether wearing the pins is appropriate. That's the job of the employer.
