Crew rest seats on the 757 and 767 are in coach. Only on the 777 do we get the 4 BF crew rest seats. Bunks were negogiated in our 2000 agreement with the company. Which, IIRC, was ratified in March or April. The company had over a year and a half to prepare for the crew bunk installation on the 777's that they agreed to provide in the contract. Installation was supposed to start in Oct '01. Then came 9/11. Suddenly, the bunks are 'unsafe and dangerous'? That is how we came to get the 4 BF seats. Funny that American, Delta, and BA all used these crew bunks, and their crews aren't having any problems with them! Furthermore, Boeing now offers these bunks on all 777 aircraft. The company is still refusing to place them on the 2 new 777 destined for delivery in '07. Maybe this is too much info and a little off topic. Oh well, off my soapbox!
