Can't remember (2 years?) but if you log-in on the website there is a table showing how many of yours will expire in the next 6 / 12 / 24 months.

The train vouchers have 12 months validity on them, so there is no excuse for not exchanging any 'soon to expire' points for a mix of HEx, GEx and StEX vouchers.
