I just tried calling them, but they are closed

I'll try again during normal hours and do an edit on this post with my findings (just to get another confirmation)>

BTW, I didn't know about this AA bonus. Sounds like a great deal, especially since someone said it's an unlimited bonus. This 3000 UA bonus is good enough for Aug-Sept so I guess I should be happy with that.

One more sidenote: Is anyone worried about what will happen in June 2006? I'm a worrier by nature, so I'm worried that we'll get fewer miles when the current double mile bonus ends. I'm hoping that they'll add another bonus next year as I'm now spoiled by the new 10 miles/$ and 20 mile/$ Hot Deals scheme. Then again, some of us were worried this year when the change was inititally annouced, but the new system turned out to be a lot better.

Oh, and you all are crushing me with dining miles. I've only earned 5813 miles with Rewards Network (plus the 1700 or so miles from the last UA bonus, and +3000 miles that I'll get for the current bonus). In the past month, though, I've been dining out solely at Rewards Network restaurants, much to the dismay of my on-and-off girlfriend.

Edit:

Results:

Okay, I just got of the phone with them. I explained the discussion we've had here, and the CSR said that the 6 person rule no longer applies, as people have speculated here, provided that the bill does not exceed the $600 limit.

Of course, as with any information given over the phone, I can't put total stock in the answer. After all, I've seen how often the advice "hang up and then call again to speak to another rep" is given on the UA board. I do think the phone call is additional evidence that we can consider. Add the responses here, and my own quick reading of the Terms & Conditions, I think this is the correct answer
