pay tax if int'l cnx with 2 different airlines?

Hi, if I'll be flying

BA GIB-LGW

then within 24 hrs,

Ryanair LTN-BGY (Milan, sorta)

am I exempt from paying airport tax since I'm an international connection pax? If so, how do I let either/both airlines aware of this fact and not charge me the taxes? Or can I get a refund somehow?
