All I do is plug in the airport express to the power outlet near the desk where the hotel internet connection is. There is usually a wall lamp or desk lamp with built in power outlet(s). At this point I power up my pc and it nearly always finds the signal automatically.

I have *never* had to install the Apple software that came with the device.

Courtyard has free internet right? The full service still charge $10 bucks a day. The reason I asked this question was that each day I usually have to go to the gateway and agree to pay for the charge of $10. Sometimes when I have been off for a while it will make me go to the marriott service provider gateway and click the agreement again. Can I still use the airport express.
