Row 1 for 319/320/737 sucks, even the cutout does not help much if you are over 6 ft, I'm 6'2" with long legs. You just can't stetch your legs out. I always go for row 2. Even with the seat in front of you fully reclined there is plenty of room for laptop etc. Don't go for row 3 on a 320 as if they swap it for a 319 you will probably end up in coach.
