exactly. this is a "no refunds after 15 years" clause, first and foremost. there's absolutely nothing else special about the 15-year mark. they could fold up the admirals club or lifetime memberships at any time prior to then, after all.
didn't AA end up in court over its previous generation of "lifetime" AAirpasses, perhaps for lack of similar phrasing??
