Dell Axim x50v is pretty much the de facto standard when it comes to high end PDA's. High-res screen, WiFi, Bluetooth and many other great features, including an available hi-cap battery.

These devices often go for as little as $325 US on Dells website, you should be able to find a similar deal down under.
