From what I understand from my parents in FLL the damage is pretty much done with and life is back to normal. However I have not been back since the storm hit so I cannot verify. Try checking www.sun-sentinel.com from what I have read things are back to normal. I would be me worried about the chance of another storm hitting; althought right now it seems like nothing is on the way.
