Why is the A340-300 a "newer plane"?
I am on this route three times a year amd they use the "old" Singapore Airlines 340-300. Nothing bad, but not new for sure.

Ingrid:
Try to change the seats 24 ABC on the first route, if you are a tall person. All three seats in front of you will have an equipment box under their seats because they are bulkhead/exit row seats (same for row 16 and 38).

Hey,

Sorry... I was mistaken and got conflicting information. The EK website states that it will be a 77W, but KVS, the EK office and other sites showed a 773. (I would trust the EK website)

The A340-300 is newer to EK, and therefore is better than the older 773 as the seats are much wider, the PTV screen bigger etc etc - I found it more pleasent, although the 77W is better by far and therefore makes this irrelevant

Sorry about that

Cheers

p.s. Yes, the flights are always / mostly fully booked. You might get a few seats empty since you are going before the december rush
