Whoa.... Am I correct in understand the T&C's state that this is really a 15 year membership,
not a lifetime membership? In particular,
American reserves the right to terminate Lifetime memerbship or revoke Lifetime membership priveleges and retrieve Lifetime membership cards at any time by advising the member and returning a pro-rated share of any membership dues payment previous received by American. The amount refunded will equal the number of full years remaining prior to the 15th anniversary of the commencement date of the membership divided by 15, multiplied by the membership price paid.
No way I would agree to those T&C's!
