Hi,

Husband and I are coming over for holiday in October via NW. After London visit we are going to Ireland for 4 nights departing from Gatwick.

1. How soon should we be at check-in to get seats? 1 1/2 hours?
2. We are travelling ET and luggage allowance is 23kg checked and 6kg cabin. Does checked mean 1 piece or 2 for total weight of 23kg?
3. Cabin piece - does that mean 22" roller and purse?
4. Did search on luggage. How strictly does Gatwick enforce?
5. How much do they charge per kg over?

Coming over Business class with good baggage allowance and now am wondering how much I am going to need to reduce because of BA domestic.
