There is so much on offer on Mauritius that everyone should find the right thing.
For myself, the St. Geran is the most elegant but for activities and more relaxed atmosphere, the Touessrok is my favourite.

As for prices, a direct reservation is the most expensive, although one can get good deals as well, it all depends on your diplomacy. This solution works best for me as I want a specific villa, etc. and do not like packages from travel agencies.
Great savings can be made with a travel agent such as Kuoni Travel, but the arrangements give you less leeway as far as dates, accomodation choice, etc. Once there, the service and the charm are the same, no matter how much you paid.
