I'm trying to hit some new mileage Plus Dining establishments this month while getting my 3000 bonus miles.

Taco Fresco Woodfield Mall Schaumberg
Not bad. Yes, it's fast food, but much better than a Taco Bell or such. My son and I first ordered some chips and salsa while waiting for Mr. Balima. The chips were freshly made and the salsa tasted fresh and not bottled. We then made a second purchase of a Chile Garlic Shrimp Qusadilla. The portion was generous, the shrimp had a nice flavor and were not overcooked. Can't ask alot more for six bucks. Best part was, we were credited for two dines since we made two seperate purchases.

Maza - Diversey and Lincoln - Lebanese
We had alot of fun. The food style I can only describe as a cross between Greek and Middle Eastern. We ordered the Masa Special, which entailed getting a tasting portion of every hot and cold appetizer on the menu. Our table was covered with all kinds of yummy little dishes. If you like to graze, this is the restaurant for you. We had hummus, falafels, fava beans in tomato, stuffed grape leaves, lentil soup (extra yummy when the offered lemon is squeezed in), babaganoush, radishes, pepperocini, chicken shwarma, stuffed kibbeh and more than I can remember. We also ordered the raw kibbeh, raw minced lamb with wheat, onions and toasted slivered almonds with lots of olive oil. Kind of a Lebanese steak tartar. A little too much olive oil for me, but still extra yummy just the same. We had some Lebanese Cabernet/Shiraz blend. Very Good, I was very surprised. Some California wineries could take lessons. Will definetely look for some next time I'm at Sam's Liquors. We ended with some Lebanese coffee, scented with cardamom seeds. Only thing we didn't like was the Vegetarian Couscous. Great place for vegetarians! Total bill for the three of us? $97 We'll be back.
