According to an article in "Der Spiegel", LH has bigger poblems with the new business-class than known. An internal memo says that especially the new IFE still is not working properly. Malfunction of the computer-System and the Screens can no longer be considered as starting-difficulties. In march 2005 some completely new malfunctions started that LH Technicians have no explanation for. Now a team of specialist are supposed to simulate those problems in a laboratory in FRA. Until they find the reasons, the refitting of airplanes will be delayed. The manufacturer of the system has to come up with a renewed version. In the middle of September the Lufthansa Vorstand will decide wether the system will be exchanged or a new supplier has to be searched.
