So can somebody please explain what airlines consititute Air China? It was easy when it was CAAC, but now there are all of the regionals carriers like China Southern, China North Western etc. etc.
If Air China joins, will it open a Chinese domestic network, or are we only getting another player across the Pacific??

For what its worth DF, when I was in China recently I noticed that Air China and the other "China" airlines each have their own lounges,staff, ticket counters and ground staff,etc
