I was on an Air France flight back in the late 80's that had a section. We were seated in the non section, which irritated me because if I'd known I could light up, I'd have booked in that row. But then, when I strolled back to have a smoke, I realized the air was so bad sitting there for the entire flight would be torture. Once you finish your own butt, you then are forced to keep smoking continuously as the other people sporadically lit up.
