The various add-on's charged on free tickets by AP are among the worst anywhere (possibly excepting BA). US carriers are much better on this. A recent BUF-Hawaii-YEG trip on AA miles had $6.00 in charges Look elsewhere people. AP availability sucks, charges are high - why bother? Oh yeah, lots of toasters
